We have decided to entrust the care of our patients who require hospitalization to the hospitalists on staff at WCA hospital. During our time working in the hospital, these hospitalist physicians have worked alongside with us, and we feel confident that their level of expertise and their focus on inpatient hospital care will complement our focus on the care we provide you outside the hospital.This change will go into effect on November 26, 2012.
We will continue to care for newborns in the nursery and Dr. Diane Mueller will continue to provide Maternity and Obstetrical care for low –risk births. As Primary Care Physicians, we care for patients of all ages.
We have made this decision after much deliberation and have decided that using hospitalists will allow us to focus on preventive care and chronic disease management in the office setting which often will keep patients out of the hospital.
We enjoy a collegial relationship and communicate frequently with the WCA hospital physicians and we will be kept up to date on your status. If you do not hear from us, please feel free to call us upon your discharge to see you for follow up care.
